Posted on a small billboard in a London tube station:
Picadillly: 96%
Jubilee: 93.4%
Central: 99%
...
I was quite impressed, thinking this was the percentage of trains that
were punctual (as is standard in Germany).
Not quite, it was actually the percentage of tubes that were IN SERVICE.
So if you were on the Jubilee line you only had a 7% chance that your Tube didn't turn up at all...
