London tales #2

Real sign above a wash-hand basin in Heathrow airport:
Warning: Hot water!

London tales #1

Posted on a small billboard in a London tube station:
Picadillly: 96%
Jubilee: 93.4%
Central: 99%
...
I was quite impressed, thinking this was the percentage of trains that
were punctual (as is standard in Germany).

What a wonderfully one-sided article:

Not to mention, completely forgetting the point that a regime
change will not make things better.

air car to air car) + Every second rate Hollywood movie (sorry, forget the second rate - all) (Happy "I'm gonna hurl" end)

Product placement spotted:
Bulgari (easy)
Lexus (in your face obvious)
Gap (in your face obvious)
USA Today (in your face obvious)
Nokia (nearly subtle)

WOW, although being a super-duper "I know it all" IT consultant, it was rather
wonderful getting Enetation's commenting system up and running
within 120 seconds.
So run free, comment to your hearts content.

Doomed jobs:

I would like to think of students as one of the most liberal, open-minded section of
society, but then again there are people who want to them to see with blinkers: Campus Watch
I especially love the "Keep us informed" section. Did anyone say Mcarthyism? Beware the mind police...
